Training on Digital Content Creation, Film Distribution, and Health Advocacy
Background:
We are excited to announce a smart phone cinema academy, a training program aimed at equipping young people (18-24) with digital skills in content creation, short film production, and distribution on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
The initiative is an accelerated integrated model for young people including those out of school to equip young people with required leadership, business and digital skills development for employability and facilitate linkages to economic and financial opportunities.
This program aims to promote digital entrepreneurship and foster health advocacy among participants by encouraging the promotion of critical public health messages through digital media including HIV prevention. By the end of the training, participants will have developed valuable skills that can lead to employability in the digital economy, as well as the ability to make a positive impact on their communities through health advocacy.
This project will entail skills/Vocation development and business management training to foster an entrepreneurial spirit with a view to inspire beneficiaries to boost their income through digital entrepreneurship. Beneficiaries will learn hands-on skills such as video shooting, editing and will be introduced to online business models, live streaming selling, and how to use social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube to promote digital products.
